The power windshield on Indian Chieftain, Roadmaster, Challenger, and Pursuit models all fail eventually. This is caused by a plastic nut that strips on the windshield motor. The motor typically doesn’t fail, only the plastic part. This part can be replaced with a CNC aluminum replacement that will not wear out. 6061 Aluminum Windshield Motor Gear.
